Louis Antoine François Baillon (January 20, 1778 – December 3, 1855) was a French naturalist and collector. He was born in Montreuil-sur-Mer and died in Abbeville.
His father, a lawyer and correspondent of Muséum national d'histoire naturelle, introduced him to natural history. Baillon himself worked for the Muséum 1798-9 as an assistant.
When he failed to obtain a position as a professor, he became a correspondent of the Muséum as well. He is particularly noted for his Cetacea skeletons and as the author of a monograph on the fauna of Abbeville.
